The liquid is BLACK, and other things about Lady Gaga’s new fragrance.

Lady Gaga’s got a perfume coming out, and honestly I’m surprised it’s taken this long because I feel like so many celebrities have fragrances these days that your career path should be something like: release a single, release an album with a sample of your fragrance, release your overpriced fragrance.

Remember the simple days?

Okay, that’s enough of a walk down memory lane. But really. The Spice Girls were onto something with their $3 bottles of Impulse.

Here are some more photos of Gaga’s perfume:

Everyone seems to be losing their mind about how it’s the first fragrance to have a black fluid. I don’t get it. Who cares? Especially if it goes clear when you spray it, I mean… I just don’t really… care that much about that. It’s super gimmicky. Don’t get me wrong, because I’m not against celebrity scents. I have I think five of them in my collection currently (Britney’s Curious, Fantasy, and Midnight Fantasy, Katy Perry’s Purr and RiRi’s Reb’l Fleur) and if this smells amazing then I’ll probably buy this too because I’m a hoarder for perfumes and make-up, but it won’t be because I think black fluid is fierce.

As for the bottle, it’s cool. I know it should probably remind me of one of her costumes, but I’m going to be honest and say that it wasn’t the first thing it reminded me of. I’m going to make my second Buffy reference for the day now. You guys remember that episode (Revelations) in season 3 where Faith gets her own Watcher and they go after this evil glove and then it turns out the glove is evil and Gwendolyn Post is an evil bitch? The glove. That’s what the bottle reminds me of:

Aaaand that about sums up all my thoughts on Gaga’s new perfume.
