Now & Then, the series?! I’d watch it.

I am currently singing the theme song to this film in my head. ‘Started out, just like aaaaany summer, days that felt, a lifetime long. That’s when we, found, each, other, and we found ourseeeeeeeeelves.’ I didn’t say it was a great song… buuuut here it is:

Okay, so OMG. This is one of my ALL TIME favourite films. Like, I can’t even. If you’re female and you didn’t watch this when you were young then I feel bad for you because your childhood was deficient.

Now and Then is currently in the early stages of being developed into a TV show by Marlene King and ABC Family. Here are some things to know about Marlene King:

- She wrote the original film Now & Then.

- She also wrote Just My Luck, that average film with LiLo.

- She developed Pretty Little Liars into the hit it is today, and is the show’s executive producer.

- If you visit the message boards for PLL, you’ll see that half the show’s fans despise her for lying to them. Whatever.

Point is, if she wrote the film, I’m cool with her turning it into a series. I’ll absolutely watch it. I also love Pretty Little Liars and just realised she’s responsible for both of them, soooo basically I love Marlene King and she can do what she wants.

It’s going to be hella weird seeing different kids playing those roles though. Christina Ricci, Gaby Hoffman, Thora Birch and the late Ashleigh Aston Moore were like, my childhood.
